Double Graphene Lightweight Puffer

The world’s first temperature regulating puffer built with a graphene shell and graphene insulation.

£1,145

Model is 5ft 11 / 180cm with a 38 inch / 97cm chest, and wears size Medium.

  • Three layer outer shell with a graphene core
  • Insulation infused with graphene
  • Water repellent, breathable and thermoregulating

Graphene is the lightest, strongest, most conductive material ever discovered. Invisible to the human eye and only a single atom thick, if you’re looking to reverse engineer superhero gear then this is your material.

The Double Graphene Lightweight Puffer is the world’s first puffer jacket engineered with a graphene shell and graphene insulation. Lightweight, water repellent, windproof and breathable, it’s an astonishingly versatile puffer that can store and redistribute heat, and reduce humidity next to your body. And because graphene conducts heat better than any material on Earth, it helps regulate your temperature wherever you are and whatever you’re doing.

The existence of graphene as a supermaterial was first theorised in the 1940s, but it wasn’t until 2004 that two maverick scientists at the University of Manchester were able to isolate and test it. In 2010 their work won them the Nobel Prize. And thanks to their pioneering work we’ve been creating our own world firsts with graphene since 2018.

Made with volcanic soil created 3.8 billion years ago

If you think of volcanic soil, you might think of the debris caused by lava spewing out of a volcano, the aftermath of Pompei, or the dystopian sets of sci-fi movies. But volcanic soils were also generated by geological transformations that took place on Earth up to 3.8 billion years ago, when thermal changes to the planet’s crust created carbonaceous rocks and sediments. A mixture of carbon and amorphous carbon crystals, volcanic soil is formed when heat and pressure is applied to carbonised matter.

Minerals create a different kind of colour

Nearly all the colour you see in clothing today will have been created with petroleum-based dyes. But colour in clothing existed long before the chemical dyeing industry was invented. So we’ve gone back to the colour palette of early man. Because each t shirt is made using minerals made by nature, you might find small differences in colour across it. And because it’s garment dyed, every t shirt has a pre-worn look.
