So our Off Grid Sweatpants are the softest sweatpants we make. Built from a heavy-duty Italian cotton they’re designed to do the same job as your regular sweatpants, they’re just adapted for much tougher environments. So they have an incredibly dense structure to keep you warm and protected. And to balance rugged strength with comfort they’re lined with fleece and washed in mangoes to soften them up.

The most comfortable sweatpants we make

Over the last 6 years we’ve been making pants for some of the most extreme environments you can find – from fire and extreme heat, to megastorms and Mars. But the Off Grid Sweatpants are built for extreme comfort. Made from a heavy-duty Italian cotton they have an incredibly dense structure to keep you warm and protected. The material is heavyweight at 480g/m2 which creates a rugged and durable outer layer.

Built for comfort in every season

Every piece of clothing has to earn its place when you’re off grid, so we wanted to create one pair of sweatpants that can do multiple jobs. The weight and structure of the cotton we use strikes the best balance for handling the temperature swings you get from season to season, or day to night. It means the sweatpants will work in winter, but they’re still breathable enough to work on warmer days. And if your clothes’ washing routine has reduced down to a bowl of hot water once in a while, these are low-maintenance sweatpants that are easy to clean, easy to dry, and hard to damage.

Lined with soft fleece on the inside

To balance rugged strength with comfort, we’ve built the sweatpants with a soft fleece lining called ‘loopback.’ As well as feeling soft next to your skin, loopback allows the sweatpants to stretch easily and increases their breathability, so you’ll always feel comfortable. We also wash the sweatpants with a softener made from mangoes, so they look and feel lived-in from the moment you first put them on. And the more you wash and wear them, the softer they’re going to get.
Three hidden zipped pockets

You’ll find two side pockets on the sweatpants fitted with low-profile invisible zips which lock into place. And at the back of the pants on the right hand side you’ll find another angled pocket with the same zip. All the pockets are lined with a super soft organic cotton.
Elasticated rope-tied waistband

The pants tighten securely at the waist with an elasticated rope-tied waistband. The ropes are finished with macramé, an ancient ‘square knotting’ technique dating back to Babylonian times. There were no grids back then. And it’s the same technique we use on our Off Grid Pants.

Built for relaxing off grid

However extreme the future becomes, at the end of a hard day you’re still going to want to stick on some comfortable clothes. It doesn’t matter if you’re living on a spaceship or you’ve disappeared off grid. Once dinner has been foraged, the fire is on, and the animals have been fed, you’re going to need some gear you can chill out in. So the Off Grid Sweatpants are built to do the same job as your regular sweatpants – they’re just adapted for much tougher environments.
