THE VENTILATION SYSTEM WORKS LIKE IN-BUILT AIR-CON
Designed for hot, humid and arid environments, the Equator Jacket is engineered with the same ventilation system as the Equator Shirt, Equator Pants and Equator Shorts. Inside the side pockets you’ll find laser-cut and bonded panels with rows of perforated vents, which are designed to let air flow through the jacket simply by opening the pockets. And another 12 larger vents run across the back and down the front of the jacket.

Built from a rare, silk-like cotton that’s only found in the Nile Delta, our Equator Pants are highly breathable and UV resistant. They dry fast after downpours. The Equator Shirt starts with the same material as the pants – a rare, silk-like cotton from the Nile Delta which is one of the lightest and softest fabrics on the planet. We turn this into a phenomenally lightweight technical shirt by adding stretch, strength, UV protection, and buttons carved from corozo nuts. And with every detail designed to keep you cool, we engineer the shirt with the most advanced ventilation system we’ve ever made – 18 concealed air vents built with laser cutting and super soft Italian mesh that work together like built-in air-con.

Our Equator T Shirts are ultralight and fast drying from rain and humidity
Designed to help keep you cool in extreme heat, our Equator T Shirts are made from one of the lightest and softest fabrics on the planet – 100% Pima cotton. The silk-like fibres of Pima cotton are much softer and smoother than normal cotton. And we also mercerize our cotton to make it even silkier and stop it sticking to you. As temperatures rise, you’ll find the Equator T Shirt is highly breathable, lightweight, fast drying and cooling next to your skin.
The Equator Shorts are engineered with 332 laser-cut vents
The shorts start with one of the lightest and softest fabrics on the planet – Karnak Menoufi – a rare, silk-like cotton that’s only found in the Nile Delta, and only grows in the years when the rain, soil and wind conditions are perfect. It’s exactly the material that we use to make our Equator Shirts and Equator Pants. We add durability and stretch by combining it with elastane and an ultrafine nylon in Italy. The result is an advanced, lightweight material that feels extremely soft and cooling next to your skin.
