On May 15 the Vollebak Spaceshop lands in London for 48 hours. And for any intergalactic readers… remember to take a hard left at Sirius B.
On May 15th our first Vollebak shop lands in central London… Obviously it doesn’t look like a shop. It looks like a spaceship. Because spaceships are cooler. And they can get around the planet more easily.
But like any good shop it will of course have things in it that you can buy. And people to help you buy them. And as it’s London, we’re going to land it inside a massive building so if it rains you’re not going to get wet.
Inside you’ll find everything from Martian Aerogel Jackets built from the hypersonic parachutes that landed the last rovers on Mars, Full Metal Jackets built from 11 kilometres of disease-resistant copper, and Electromagnetic Shielding Bombers designed to combat cosmic and earthly radiation.
We designed and built the Spaceshop with SAGA Space Architects, and sonic powerhouse Bang & Olufsen to offer a glimpse into a future of interplanetary drone deliveries between Earth, the Moon and Mars. And it’ll be parked up for around 48 Earth hours.
