Indestructible Mitts
The world’s toughest mitts designed to handle rips, abrasion, rain and blizzards.
- Highly abrasion and rip resistant
- Built with a waterproof membrane
- Insulated and fleece-lined
The Indestructible Mitts are made from Dyneema® which is the single strongest fibre known to man today. On a weight for weight basis Dyneema® is up to 15x stronger than steel. It’s so tough it was originally used in body armour, anti-ballistic vehicle armour, and ropes used to tie down oil rigs in violent, icy seas. And it makes the mitts highly resistant to rips and abrasion.
As well as being the toughest mitts ever built, they’re also windproof and blizzard proof. It takes 5 incredibly high performance materials to make each pair. Beneath the high strength Dyneema® outer shell and weatherproof membrane, two different synthetic insulations line the inside of the gloves – one for warmth, one for grip. While the palm of the mitts is made from super high strength, high grip polyacrylate resin dots.
Technical Details
Highly resistant to rips and abrasion, the Indestructible Mitts are built with a material 15x stronger than steel.
A waterproof membrane keeps out rain and snow
To build the Indestructible Mitts we’ve bonded a waterproof membrane to the underside of the Dyneema®. It’s this membrane that makes the world’s toughest material weatherproof. And it’s the first time this has been done. Constructed with millions of tiny pores, the membrane allows sweat to escape while keeping rain out. So even if you’re in a snowstorm or a downpour and the Dyneema® begins to absorb water, it can’t come through the membrane, so that’s where it stops.
As well as being the toughest mitts ever built, they’re also windproof and blizzard proof.
Two types of insulation for warmth and grip
The gloves are constructed with two different types of insulation to keep your hands warm – one inside the palm and one on the back of the hand. The palm insulation has been developed by PrimaLoft® to cope with the opening, closing and flexing movements of hands. Built with heat-trapping fibres made entirely out of recycled plastic bottles it goes through a process called needling to make it extremely flexible and compressible, without losing grip or breaking down over time. It’s also lightweight, breathable, and water resistant so it keeps insulating even when wet.

In the coldest place on Earth, these are the strongest mitts
As the temperature drops, the Dyneema® outer layer increases in strength, making these unlike any other mitts ever created. The lowest temperature recorded at ground level on Earth was -89°C in the Soviet Vostok Station in Antarctica. It’s here that the mitts come into their own. In the coldest temperature ever recorded, these would be the strongest mitts ever made, and still getting stronger.
Size + Fit
The Indestructible Mitts come in two sizes, Medium and Large.
To measure your palm circumference, measure it flat around your knuckles without including your thumb.
