It’s super stretchy, lined with ultrasoft breathable fleece, and has 4 huge zipped from pockets for stashing your gear. But it’s also windproof, abrasion resistant, water repellent, fire resistant, and can withstand temperatures 4x hotter than the sun. So you can now wear it anywhere, and all year round.

THE HOODIE COMBINES 4 LAYERS OF DIFFERENT TECHNOLOGY
The inside of the hoodie is made from an incredibly dense fleece that’s 4x more windproof than a regular fleece, while the outside of the fabric is a blend of modacrylic and aramid fibres for fire resistance. On top of that there are two coatings. One is a fluorocarbon-free treatment that helps it shed rain and snow. The other fuses high strength polymers directly into the fibres to make the hoodie highly abrasion resistant.

COATED WITH POLARTEC HARDFACE® FOR EXTREME DURABILITY
The outside of the entire sweatpants is embedded with a highly durable coating developed by Polartec called Hardface®. It’s a patented polymer surface treatment that increases the sweatpants’ lifespan by making them extremely resistant to abrasion and snagging. The high strength polymers are fused directly into the fibres, so the coating can’t be rubbed off or washed out. It feels completely smooth to the touch, and you only know it’s there by the subtle tessellating pattern that’s visible across the surface of the material.
THE 100 YEAR T SHIRT IS 14X TOUGHER THAN A REGULAR COTTON T SHIRT
The reality of most t shirts is that after a few years they start to break down, then they’re thrown out. The 100 Year T Shirt is different. While it looks like a regular cotton t shirt and feels like a regular cotton t shirt, it’s made with a material so tough it was originally developed for military combat uniforms.

BUILT WITH MILITARY GRADE JAPANESE CORDURA
To build the 100 Year T Shirt we’ve worked with a military grade Japanese material that combines soft cotton with Cordura. As a high tenacity Nylon, Cordura is normally found in protective panels on motorcycle gear and hiking boots, not in t shirts. But we’ve found a way of incorporating enough high strength fibres to radically enhance the performance of the t shirt, but without losing the softness of the cotton.
The 100 Year Pants are built from a Swiss supermaterial that combats everything from wildfires to wild weather.
Ultra-durable, weather resistant and breathable
The outer layer of the pants is a highly abrasion and tear resistant Nylon ripstop. When you feel the rugged texture of this layer you get a sense of just how tough and durable it really is. But critically it manages to stay flexible, lightweight and stretchy at the same time. It’s also completely windproof, while remaining breathable to release warm air when you start to heat up. Finally it’s coated with a water repellent treatment that helps the pants resist light rain and snow.
The pants blend extreme strength ripstop, 2 fireproof layers, the same aramid fibres you find in body armour, and carbon fibre.

It’s super stretchy, lined with ultra-soft fleece, and comes with a big front pouch pocket – so has a classic pullover hoodie feel. But it’s also windproof, abrasion resistant, water repellent, fire resistant, and can withstand temperatures 4x hotter than the sun. So it’s fair to say it’s an upgrade.

FLAMES CAN’T SPREAD ON ITS SURFACE
Over half the hoodie is made from extreme-strength fire resistant fibres. More than a third of the material is a fibre called modacrylic, an inherently fire resistant copolymer that’s difficult to ignite and will even self-extinguish. And another 14% is made from aramid fibres, which is the stuff used to make body armour and bulletproof vests. When flames come into contact with the material they can only char it. It doesn’t melt or drip, and flames can’t spread on its surface.

The material the 100 Year Sweatshirt is built from was originally developed to protect the military in the most dangerous situations – from flash fires to arc flash. A flash fire is a sudden, intense fire that combines high temperatures and short duration with a rapidly moving flame front. An arc flash is a type of extreme electrical explosion that’s capable of generating temperatures of 19,400°C, which is four times hotter than the surface of the sun and can burn skin and set clothes on fire even at a distance.
