Eiderdown Puffer - Exosphere Blue edition
Filled with the lightest, warmest, rarest down on Earth.
- Insulation is 100% Icelandic eiderdown
- Gathered by hand in the Fljót Valley, northern Iceland
- The down is a by-product of a natural moulting process
The Eiderdown Puffer is filled with the lightest, warmest and rarest down on Earth. Sourced from a sanctuary of free-nesting eider ducks in the remote Fljót Valley in Iceland’s northernmost extremes, our eiderdown is hand-gathered by third-generation Icelandic eider duck caretakers. They collect the feathers only once the eider ducks have shed them naturally and have no further use for them.
Eider ducks are large seabirds native to northern Europe that spend 11 months of the year diving in icy waters for fish and shellfish. So their down has evolved to help them survive in some of the harshest conditions on the planet. It’s made of superfine feathers with microscopic hooks that latch onto each other, creating a cohesive network that traps air and repels water like no other material. It’s also thermoregulating – intelligently expanding and contracting as it responds to temperature changes.
Double Graphene Puffer
Engineered with graphene on the outside, and graphene on the inside.

Technical Details

The Double Graphene Puffer is engineered with a graphene shell and graphene insulation.

While it’s completely invisible and only a single atom thick, graphene is the lightest, strongest, most conductive material ever discovered.

It keeps out snow and wind while staying breathable
The outer shell is treated with a water repellent coating that helps water roll off its surface, while the graphene membrane in the middle prevents water from passing through. It means the jacket can cope with wind, snow, and rain showers. The only weather it’s not built for is heavy downpours. At the same time the membrane allows sweat vapour to escape from the inside, helping to prevent you from overheating when you’re working hard.

In 2018 we built the world’s first Graphene Jacket. Then in 2022 we used graphene to bring us one step closer to an invisibility cloak.

The puffer’s insulation is infused with graphene, which conducts heat better than any material on earth.

The graphene conducts heat and warms you up
Graphene conducts heat better than any material on Earth. So when you’re wearing the jacket in cold weather it helps equalise your skin temperature by sending heat from the hot bits of your body like your head, to the cold bits like your hands. It’s the first wave of conductive fabrics that will carry heat or electricity around your body but without any power source. Lab tests have shown that the closer to your body the material is, the more effective it will be at regulating your skin temperature and increasing it by an average of 2°C.

Graphene’s discovery was so mind-blowing it was compared to finding CERN’s Large Hadron Collider on your desk.
