Indestructible Chinos
We’ve taken the world’s most dependable pants, and made them even more dependable.
- Strengthened with Dyneema®
- Pockets reinforced with Cordura
- Garment washed for softness
Like most men’s clothing, chinos emerged from war. They were slim-fitting, flat-fronted, functional, and most importantly… really really dependable. By 1902, after heavy field-testing, they’d been made an official part of the US Army uniform. Once World War II was over, the guys who’d fought went off to college still wearing them – turning them into an instant hit on the Ivy League campuses. And their reputation was only cemented as a staple of mid-century menswear when they became the standard issue kit for John F. Kennedy and Steve McQueen.
Which is why, 120+ years later, you still don’t need to mess with the design. So we haven’t. Instead we’ve taken pants you’ve always been able to rely on, and woven them with the strongest fibre on Earth… so you can rely on them even more.
While they look and feel like regular chinos, every pair of Indestructible Chinos is made with a blend of cotton and Dyneema® – which is the same stuff used in body armour, arctic ropes and the sides of tanks. Of course you’d never know this just by putting them on. The Dyneema® is woven in with the cotton during the weaving process, so you’ll only ever feel the softness of the cotton, not the strength of the Dyneema®. And they’ve also been garment washed so they feel lived in from day one.
100 Year Zip Through Hoodie
The fleece-lined hoodie designed to outlive you. It fights fire, water, wind and time.

Technical Details

It’s windproof, abrasion resistant, water repellent and fire resistant on the outside, and fleece lined on the inside.

Windproof, abrasion resistant, water repellent and fire resistant
Stick the 100 Year Hoodie under a microscope and you’ll find 4 different layers of technology that start with the material itself. The inside of the fabric is made from an incredibly dense fleece that’s 4x more windproof than a regular fleece, while the outside of the fabric is a blend of modacrylic and aramid fibres for fire resistance. On top of that there are two coatings. One makes the hoodie highly abrasion resistant, the other helps it shed rain and snow.

The hoodie can withstand temperatures of 19,400° C. That's 4x hotter than the sun.
Most high strength, fireproof materials will do a good job of keeping you alive, but a bad job of making you comfortable. This hoodie changes that.

It’s ultra-soft and breathable with four-way stretch
Most high strength, fireproof materials will do a good of keeping you alive, but a bad job of making you comfortable. So the 100 Year Zip Through Hoodie changes that. It’s soft and elastic. It’s highly breathable and high-wicking, so when you start working hard it lets warm air and sweat escape. And it’s constructed with elastane so you can move in any direction without feeling resistance.

the 100 Year Hoodie is built from an ultra-tough, all-weather, fire resistant supermaterial.

Built with Polartec technology
As well as being synonymous with outdoor gear, for the last decade Polartec have been developing flame resistant fabrics for the US military after their uniforms began melting in the intense heat of IED detonations. They work with military partners to develop combat-ready layering systems that protect soldiers from sudden heat sources in hostile territories. Our aim was to let anyone benefit from this technology.
