Titan is Saturn’s largest moon. And one day it could be our next home. It comes with an atmosphere 4x thicker than Earth’s, and it’s only the second body in our Solar System known to have liquid on its surface – we live on the other one. So just like the Moon and Mars it has potential.

However, Titan is cryogenically cold. With average surface temperatures of -179°C, it’s twice as cold as anything recorded on Earth. It also has methane monsoons and cryovolcanoes spewing out jets of freezing hydrocarbon rain. So don’t book your flight just yet. As we continue to build clothing for planet Earth and beyond, embracing the challenges of Titan forces us to push the technological boundaries of extreme cold weather clothing.

It's why the Titan Pants come with an outer material designed to survive warzones and emergency pull cords for blizzards. The inside of the pants is made from the same extreme-strength parachute material used to land a probe on Titan and the Perseverance Rover on Mars. And they’re part of our Titan system, which we’ve tested down to -100°C in a liquid nitrogen chamber.

A travel jacket to take you anywhere on Earth

There are over 510 million square kilometres on the surface of Earth, with mangrove swamps and mega cities, tropical rainforests, lava fields, high plateaus, offices and Arctic-alpine deserts. So the lightweight edition of the Planet Earth Jacket is a travel jacket to take you anywhere on Earth.

It's fully waterproof

Even in heavy rain the Planet Earth Jacket is totally waterproof to keep you dry and comfortable. A durable water repellent coating applied to the outside of the material lets rain and snow bead off the jacket, while a waterproof membrane laminated underneath prevents water from getting through the fabric. Every seam on the jacket is fully sealed with bonding, and we’ve engineered out seams at the shoulders to eliminate the chance of water making its way in.

Air-con for your back

You’ll find four more vents across the upper back. These are engineered to stay open and bring constant airflow. Two layers of fabric overlap and are securely fixed with bartacks. It means they won’t blow open and that water rolls off them, but the air can still flow in. And underneath each arm there are four more laser cut vents.
