The Ultralight Suit Pants are part of a system of highly technical clothing designed for all climates, environments and occasions. Weighing just 250 grams, these are the pants engineered to keep you cool in soaring temperatures and are so light and breathable you might forget you're wearing them.

They're built from a high-performance material precision engineered by Schoeller, one of the world's most advanced textiles labs.

The outside surface uses a plant-based nanotechnology that works like the waxy skin of a leaf. That means they repel rain and dirt, dry fast if they do get wet and breathe in extreme heat. They’re also super stretchy for comfort and manoeuvrability.

The Ultralight Suit Pants are part of a system of ultralight, highly technical all-weather clothing designed to take you across every climate, environment and terrain on the surface of Earth. They’re built from a high-performance material, precision engineered by Schoeller to keep you cool in extreme heat and humidity. They also repel water, resist creases and are loaded with elastane for maximum comfort and manoeuvrability.

An elastic core, a tough surround and a soft finish

The material we use in the suit pants is 93% recycled polyamide and 7% elastane. But this isn’t just polyamide with a bit of stretch thrown in. It’s a core-spun construction, which means there’s an elastane filament running through the centre of every yarn, wrapped in a sheath of high-tenacity recycled polyamide. The elastane core gives the material its stretch and snap-backability. The sheath gives it durability, abrasion resistance and a surface that feels like a natural material rather than a slippery synthetic one.

Water and dirt repellent with plant-based technology

The pants repel water and dirt using a microscopic technology borrowed from plants. If you look at the leaf of any ‘vascular land plant’ out in nature, you’ll find it’s coated by a waxy protective layer called a cuticle. This super thin film prevents water and dirt from penetrating the leaf’s tissues, as well as protecting it from pathogens, fungi and uncontrolled evaporation. The material the pants are made from mimics this natural mechanism to help them shed water and dirt.

Every fibre is wrapped in a plant-based water-repellent finish that works like the waxy skin of a leaf.

Microscopic chains that mimic plant leaves

The material replicates the self-cleaning effect produced by cuticles with microscopic chains wrapped around each individual fibre. These helix structure chains spiral around the fibres to reduce surface tension, forcing water and mud to simply roll off the surface of the pants. The technology works without using any toxic fluorocarbons while keeping you and the pants dry and clean at the same time.

Two-way stretch and crease resistance

Because of the core-spun construction, the stretch in these suit pants isn’t an afterthought, it’s structural. The elastane core gives the material permanent two-way elasticity that doesn’t slacken over time. No sagging, bagging, or slowly losing their shape. Polyamide is also naturally crease resistant so you can stuff the suit pants in the bottom of a bag and they will come out wrinkle-free.

A crinkle surface engineered to take the heat

Look closely at the material and you’ll see it isn’t smooth. The yarn has an irregular, crepe-like texture created by deliberate thick-thin variations. That crinkled micro-surface creates tiny air gaps that allow heat and moisture to escape in humid conditions.

Stripped back and built for movement

The Ultralight Suit Pants are built as stripped-back, unstructured pants with nothing between you and the material. The waistband has single needle topstitching for a clean, tailored finish. The hem is turned and bonded rather than stitched, keeping lines precise without adding bulk. A back leg articulation seam and darts at front and back give the pants their shape while allowing free-flowing movement in any direction.

Invisible hardware

Every piece of hardware on the suit pants is designed to disappear. The waistband closes with a Riri Zero snap – an invisible metal snap hidden behind the fabric – with a bioresin button on the inner waistband for a secure, low-profile closure. The two side pockets use concealed zips with matte black pullers. At the back, a zipped pocket sits under a self-fabric welt, visible only if you’re looking for it. Every detail has been engineered to keep the lines clean.

We replaced buttons with invisible snaps, stitching with bonding, and structure with material science.

Made for travelling light

The suit pants’ low weight and crease-resistant material make them easy to fold and pack down into a travel bag. At the other end of the journey you can simply pull them out, shake them out and throw them on. Polyamide’s natural crease resistance means they won’t look like they spent 12 hours in a carry-on, even when they did.
